New to our program in 2007, this splendid European lodge-style house can sleep 16 people and is perfect for large families or groups of families in need of space and all the comforts of home on their ski or summer retreat to Colorado.
Completed in 2003, with 2-car garage and comprising 3,712 square feet of living space, the focal point for the house is the expansive Great Room on the second floor. With slate tiling throughout and incorporating a wonderful stone-finished wood burning fireplace, this open-plan room features living room, dining area with 10-person dining table, breakfast/reading alcove with seating for 4, a 3/4 bathroom and fully equipped kitchen with granite counter kitchen-tops and modern appliances. Satellite TV through DirecTV, DVD player plus stereo are your entertainment options in this spacious room.
The king-sized master bedroom is also located on the second floor with its own satellite TV, full bath, steam shower or steam sauna, walk-in closet and private deck. Two more bedrooms and two full bathrooms are located on the ground floor: a queen-size bed in one bedroom, and a set of bunks plus hide-a-bed with TV in the second bedroom. This floor also features a laundry room with full-size washer and dryer.
Upstairs from the Great Room is a large lofted room with 2 sets of log-constructed queen-size bunk beds sleeping up to 8 people, relaxation/play area, plus an additional full bathroom.
The large front deck takes in the early morning sun, while the back deck features a gas BBQ grill, and large private hot-tub.
Located in the quiet residential area of Winter Park Ranch, 6 miles from the Ski Area, and 4 miles to downtown Winter Park, private transportation by way of personal or rented vehicles is recommended, although a free shuttle bus stop is located 3/10 of a mile away.
