What’s happening in the ski industry? Here are some of the top stories:

  • Talk of global warming completely wiping out the ski industry in the year 2100. Yes, not a lot of us will be around, but can you imagine future generations that will never know the feeling of fresh powder?
  • Colorado Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame induct 5 members: Barbara Ferries-Henderson, Mark Tache, Henry Christian Hall, and Jim Temple, and Ray Duncan. The accomplishments of these five incredible individuals include founding two of the premier ski resorts in Colorado, ski jumping, and ski racing. The annual Gala to honor these members will be held October 14, 2006 in Denver. (more…)
