Winter Park Resort and the towns of Winter Park and Fraser operate a free shuttle bus system in winter to and from the ski area and around the towns and outlying areas to ensure that private transportation is not needed during your stay here in the valley.
In winter, for Winter Park ski area service, the free shuttle runs from 8:00AM to 5:00PM with a number of color-coded routes and scheduled pick-up and drop-off times ensuring that the concentrated areas for lodging are catered for. Nighttime service, from 5:30PM until 11:00PM is more limited, but in conjunction with the Main Street route and Meadowridge/Winter Park Ranch line, there's an on-call service that operates almost like a taxi service called "The Link", with designated pick-up points throughout the valley. Just call 726-4163 from your unit or cell-phone (area code 970) and you'll be picked up in 15 minutes or less
With only a few exceptions, all of Vacations Inc's rental units are on the free winter shuttle route ensuring you are a free ride and a few steps from anywhere you want to go in the valley.
