Description Visit with Santa from 11:30-1pm in the Base Camp Lodge dining hall for all those last minute requests. Inter-Denominational church services at 4:30pm are open to the public in the dining hall of Base Camp Lodge with Christmas carols and holiday refreshments.

5:30 PM Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade & Fireworks
Location Winter Park Resort
Description The Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade is one of the most beloved Winter Park traditions. The event begins with Christmas carols around the bonfire at the base of Winter Park Resort, next to the Zephyr Lift. At 5:30 pm, a procession of torch-bearing skiers begin their way down Lower Hughes trail, followed by Santa Claus and his helpers. A spectacular fireworks display and snowcats adorned with Christmas colors light up the slopes in a Christmas tree formation to conclude the festivities. Immediately following the show at 6:30pm, visitors are welcome to attend Christmas Eve interdenominational services located in the lower level of the Balcony House and Catholic Church services located in West Portal Level 4. Services are scheduled to last about an hour.

6:00 PM Christmas Eve Dinner at Sunspot
Location Winter Park Resort
Description The air is crisp as you board the Zephyr Express Gondola at the 9000′ base of Winter Park mountain. Cozy wool blankets are provided for the gentle ride up to The Lodge at Sunspot at 10,700′ elevation. At the summit, exit the gondola and take just a few steps to the entrance of this scenic Lodge. Enter to a welcoming wood-burning stone fireplace and realize this is going to be a new holiday tradition! Two options of unique dining are available at 10,700 feet. An elegant experience is the Four Course Dinner in Sunspot’s Dining Room. Your courses will be timed and served to you: (1) amuse, (2) choice of soup or salad, (3) choice of entrĂ©e, and (4) dessert. Surely one of the many wines from the Wine Room will complement your meal splendidly! Please expect up to two hours for the four course dinner. Sunspot’s Alpine Buffet is satisfying and suitable for the whole family. Variety of items to choose for yourself, including carved meats, chicken, fish, vegetables, potato, salad, fresh-baked breads and desserts. Each dining option has a pre-set price which includes your Zephyr Gondola ride to & from The Lodge at Sunspot, non-alcoholic beverages (except specialty beverages from the Coffee Shop) and meal. Alcohol, specialty coffee beverages, gratuity and sales tax will be additional. Dinners at The Lodge at Sunspot are sell-out events, and reservations are required.
